REACHING THE COMMUNITY

We hope you’ll feel at home as we worship God together here at the Mt. Laurel Church of God this coming Sunday. We invite you to join our church family as we worship, learn, grow and encourage one another. If you’re searching for a place to call home, we’d like you to know that there’s a place here just for you.

Worship With Us

The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God, to give Him our worship and to receive His blessing and inspiration. Our worship service is a special time of spiritual refreshment as we center on Christ and are led by the Holy Spirit. Come as you are and experience a connection with God like you’ve never had before. Our service includes a blend of today’s tunes and yesterday’s hymns as we sing from a hymnal or from words projected on two large monitors at the front of the sanctuary.

Learn With Us

We believe studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but it also guides us spiritually. We teach and preach God’s Word as a living, relevant book that’s applicable for life today and preparation for life in glory. Learning its truths is a thrilling adventure. We hope you’ll come along!

Make Friends With Us

Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship and fellowship. That’s why we make it a priority to build lasting bonds between members of our church family—bonds of concern and genuine commitment to one another. Best of all, this circle of loving care is ever-widening. We’d love for it to include you, too.

Serve The Lord With Us

Just as Jesus came “not to be served, but to serve,” we accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others.  This applies both within the church family and to those outside our fellowship.  We look forward to serving you and hope you’ll chose to become part of our family as together we serve others in the name of Christ!

Be listening, caring friends, whether or not we are official lay counselors;

Be enthusiastic participants and ready to give a hand, whether or not we are on the planning or cleanup committees

Extend the word of welcome, whether or not we are official greeters;

Be ready to give reason for the hope that is in us, whether or not we are on the evangelism team;

Everyone Can Serve

Remember: You can serve without being a part of an “official” ministry.

Bible Study

Are you looking for answers to some of life’s most difficult questions? Do you wonder how God’s Word, the Bible, applies to our daily living? The Mt. Laurel Church of God offers a weekly Wednesday Night Bible Study and Prayer Time in our sanctuary from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm. It’s a time of relaxed study of God’s Word, a time to ask questions and a time to enjoy being together as we learn what God expects of His followers. Come as you are and come learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Even our pastor wears jeans to teach each Wednesday evening!

Worship Choir

Make a joyful noise for our Lord.  Join the choir.

Practice is Wednesday evening from 8 to 9 pm.

 Contemporary & Traditionally Southern Gospel

An Outreach Ministry

Closet distribution hours are every 4th Saturday from 9-12 at the church. We are blessed to provide to anyone in need. All are welcome to partake of our vast assortment of men's, women's & children's clothing & accessories! We partner with many community organizations helping filter much needed support in the area.

Many ask how they can help. Our donation box is located in our parking lot for ease of drop off. We sort and hang clothing on Tuesdays starting at 9:00 am. Many hands make light work and all are welcome!

We appreciate all who contribute time, hard work & donations! You are making a difference!

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. "

-Matthew 25:35-36
